Longplayer: Encore

My fascination with Longplayer continues to ramp up with the discovery that its creator, Jem Finer, was one of the founding member of the Pogues. Quite the renaissance man!

Skilled on the banjo and hurdy-gurdy, Finer also has constructed his own instruments, most notably for Score for a Hole in the Ground, a permanent instrument / installation in a forest in Kent that operates by natural forces alone.
