The Brooklyn Bridge, Bert Cooper, and Robert DeNiro
I had a dream that
the piers for the Brooklyn Bridge were habitable structures, and
Sterling Cooper had their offices inside the Manhattan-side pier. Bert
Cooper’s office was on the top floor, but Mrs. Blankenship couldn’t make
it up there every day (no elevator?), so Bert resigned.
Later, the pier became some sort of mining rig, with miners coming and going from an entrance tunnel in the base of the structure. Soon, the mining operation went bust, but Robert DeNiro showed up to pay every overall-clad miner a generous severance (in cash). DeNiro was also working on finding a home for the fat, loveable gray cat that had been the miners’ mascot and mouser.
